Description
Bitumen waterproof membrane production line is used to produce SBS or APP modified waterproofing membranes. 1. Raw Material Mixing
Workers mix bitumen, polymer (SBS or APP), talcum powder, engine oil, and other additives in heated mixer tanks. Heat-conducting oil maintains a stable temperature, producing high-performance modified bitumen.
2. Coating Process
The modified bitumen flows into the coating unit, where it evenly coats a nonwoven carrier (polyester or fiberglass). The line then applies a surface layer—such as PE film, sand, or aluminum foil—forming the waterproof membrane’s core structure.
3. Cooling & Finishing
The membrane passes through a cooling section, where water and air rapidly lower its temperature to stabilize its shape and properties. Finally, a winder rolls the finished product into uniform sizes for storage or shipment.
